AFS achieved TL 9000 registration for its facility in India, this comes as a confirmation of the world-class standards applied by us in all of our operations .

TL 9000 is a demanding international standard for quality processes in the telecommunications industry, including requirements for all major management and measurement systems. This TL 9000 certification represents a continuing emphasis on customer relationships, reliability of products and services, enhanced product life cycle, tracking customer requirements through design and development, telecom specific performance measurements, service requirements, benchmarking data, comprehensive disaster recovery and long-term commitment to continuous improvement.

AFS had previously achieved ISO 9001 certification in 2008 and continues to maintain this certification as well. Since then, AFS has gone a step ahead to improve its business processes.

About TL- 9000 And ISO 9001

TL 9000 is a standard which forms the requirements or the application of ISO 9001 for the TELECOMMUNICATION industry. It is an application of the ISO 9001 standard with additional telecom specific requirements for Hardware, Software, and Service suppliers. TL 9000 standard establishes a common set of quality system requirements for suppliers of telecommunication systems, hardware, software and services. It reduces the need to meet other telecommunication quality management standards. The requirements focus on performance and cost-based metrics overall cost reduction, continual improvement of service and enhanced customer/supplier business relationships to increase competitiveness.
